Perry Hicks, Attorney at Law

Raised on the farm in Texas, Perry Hicks graduated from Tarleton State University with a degree in agriculture in 1975. After working for the Farmers Home Administration and the Peace Corps, Perry graduated from the University Of Texas School Of Law in 1982. He has practiced law in Arizona since 1983.

Perry is also a proud graduate of the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College®. The Trial Lawyers College was founded to train a new breed of lawyer, who fights with passion and justice. The Trial Lawyers College is also dedicated to training lawyers and judges who are committed to the jury system and obtaining justice for those less fortunate.

Perry Hicks has been named to the Million Dollar Advocates Forum® and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum®. Established in 1993, the Million Dollar Advocates Forum® (which includes the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum®) is one of the most sought after, prestigious groups of trial lawyers in America. There are more than 4000 members throughout the country, but less than 1% of U.S. attorneys are members of the Forum.

Perry focuses his practice on cases involving accidents and personal injury, as well as criminal defense and DUI. He has successfully represented clients in large personal injury and wrongful death cases and those accused of serious crimes, including first-degree murder. His countless DUI victories have helped clients retain their freedom (and their drivers licenses), while also helping them avoid the career crippling effects of a DUI conviction. He has recovered millions on behalf of his client's in personal injury settlements. His skilled legal advocacy gained him recognition as Two Years 10 Best Personal Injury Attorneys for Client Satisfaction from the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys.

Kristina Guerrero Light, Attorney 

Kristina joined our firm in 2024 with a wealth of experience from the Cochise County Attorney’s Office, where she managed a diverse range of cases, from DUI to First Degree Murder. Her extensive background on both sides of the law has cultivated a deep compassion and understanding in handling criminal cases. In 2023, Kristina was honored with the APAAC Diversion/Specialty Court Prosecutor of the Year award for her pivotal role in re-establishing the CARe Court in Justice Court 5. This program, designed to support veterans, individuals with mental health issues, and those struggling with addiction, offers participants a path toward rehabilitation and the potential dismissal of their cases. We are incredibly fortunate to have Kristina’s expertise and dedication on our team.

 

 

 

Michele Ryan, Legal Assistant

When Michele joined our office in 2005, she brought with her 15 years of invaluable experience from working with major auto insurance companies in Southern California. Her extensive background in handling thousands of serious and complex personal injury cases has greatly enriched our clients' experience. Michele's hands-on approach has consistently delivered outstanding results, thanks to her deep knowledge and skill in the personal injury field. For the past 19 years, she has been dedicated to offering personalized attention to every case, working closely with Perry and our clients to achieve the best possible outcomes.
 

 

 

Stephanie Williams, Legal Assistant

The first thing you'll notice about Stephanie is her contagious smile and vibrant personality the moment she answers the phone. Stephanie joined us in 2019 after dedicating 30 years of service at the Cochise County Superior Court. She brings a wealth of experience and genuine kindness to her role. Stephanie is always ready to lend a compassionate ear and assist with your concerns, making her a true asset in supporting your case.

Barbara Andrews, Legal Assistant

We are very happy to have Barbara on our support team since 2023. With her retirement from the Cochise County Court system, where she gained extensive experience in the County Attorney’s office and the Justice Court system. Barbara brings a wealth of knowledge and a kind, helpful demeanor to our office. Her deep understanding of the court system and her approachable nature make her an invaluable asset, enhancing both your case and your overall client experience.
